Dieter Ingenschay

Dieter Ingenschay, born 1948 in Issum, Kreis Kleve, is a retired professor of Spanish speaking literature sciences  at the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, former chairman (honorary member since 2015) of the German-Hispanist association, guest professor at several Universities in Spain, Latin America and the U.S.A. Co-applicant of the German-Mexican graduate college “ZwischenRäumen“, member of the center for trans-disciplinary gender studies, at the center for jewish studies and in the Georg-Simmel center for metropolitan research at the HU Berlin. His research fields include: the aspects of post modernity, post-colonialism and the post-dictatorship in the Spanish-speaking realm; gender and gay studies; cities and literature.
