Joey Bahlsen is a freelance author and translator. He holds a bachelor in philosophy and music from the University of Sussex and an MSc in creative writing from Edinburgh University. His prose has been published in minor literature/s, The Wild Word and 50 , among others. He has translated texts by MC Jabber, Marie-Pascale Hardy, Göksu Kunak and Ian Orti. Bahlsen is currently working on his first novella. He resides in Berlin and is an editor of stadtsprachen magazin.
