Rafael Mantovani was born in São Paulo in 1980 and has been living in Berlin since 2011. He’s a Linguistics graduate and has worked as a translator since 1998. His poems in Portuguese have been featured in Brazilian magazines such as Modo de Usar & Co., Lado7, Rosa, Leopardskin & Limes, among others. His poetry collection “Cão” was published in 2011 by Editora Hedra, and so will his forthcoming newest collection in 2016. He has performed at several events in Berlin, like the Latinale (2013), the lyrik im ausland series (2013), the multilingual reading meus pelos cresceram (2014) the KM0 project (2014) and readings at Queer Stories at Another Country (2015).
