Clementine Ewokolo Burnley was born in Cameroon and grew up in Great Britain. She is an author and media scholar and her work is primarily concerned with themes of loss, survival and interculturality. Her prose was published in edition assemblage, Teamangelica Press, Versal Journal, The Feminist Wire and Parabola Magazine. In 2017, Burnley was nominated for the Bristol Short Story Prize and was a finalist in the Miles Morland Scholarship. Her new novel „Scatterchild“ is in the final stages of publication.
