Ekaterina Sadur, daughter of a famous Russian prosaist and dramaturge Nina Sadur, is the author of several novels, short story collections and plays published in Russia and Germany. Sadur defines her style as “mystical realism.” Sadur also writes for film and theater, her plays are performed in Moscow and St. Petersburg. She is a member of the internation writer association PEN. She was awarded stipends of the Alfred Toepfer foundation (2002), the Literarischen Colloquium Berlin (2003), University Iowa – New York Open World (2004), Alfred Döblin foundation (2013). She currently lives in Moscow and Berlin.
