Joey Bahlsen is a freelance author and translator. He holds a bachelor in philosophy and music from the University of Sussex and an MSc in creative writing from Edinburgh University. His prose has been published in minor literature/s and The Wild Word, among others. He has translated texts by Donna Stoneipher, Idra Novey, William Cody Maher, Chavisa Woods, MC Jabber, Marie-Pascale Hardy, Göksu Kunak, Ian Orti and more. Bahlsen is currently working on his first novella. He resides in Berlin and is editor and art director of stadtsprachen magazin as well as event coordinator for the literary journal SAND.
