More and more poets live in several languages moving about multiple places and traditions. This leads to closely intertwined poetry writing in which interlingualism and hybrid vocabulary and structures are intentionally used as a means of composition. This way the poets overcome anachronistic concepts of literature, undermine national confines of literature and create poetic as well as political “bastards“ of explosive force. During the public workshop Symposium DICT, the interlingual poets will give instigating statements on their personal experiences with hybrid poetry and they will also discuss the potential of these forms with each other and the audience. A reading in the evening concludes the day.
