Parataxe Presentation: VÕ THỊ HẢO und ILIA RYVKIN

What languages does Berlin write in? In varying locations, PARATAXE regularly invites Berlin authors, who pen their work in languages other than German, to take part in conversations, readings and new translations.

On June 13 we present Võ Thị Hảo (Vietnam/Berlin), translated into German by Dang-Lanh Hoang, and Ilia Ryvkin (Russia/Berlin), translated into German by Maria Rajer.

An evening in German, Vietnamese and Russian language (with translation into German).

GARDEN EDITION! With snacks and drinks. Doors open already at 7 pm! Spree cycle path and children’s playground enclosed! Open-air event for a maximum of 100 guests according to the hygiene regulations of the Berlin Senate. In the garden of the NOVILLA: Directly at the Spree, about 10 minutes from Ostkreuz and S&U Neukölln! Or S9, S8, S85, S45, S46, S47 (to Schöneweide station, then 8 minutes walk) or bus 165 (to Hasselwerder Straße, then 3 minutes walk) or tram 27, 63, 67 (to Firlstraße, then 3 minutes walk). Or by bicycle along the Spree river…
