Berlin’s new literary festival was presented on Friday, October 28, at 5:00 pm at the Pfefferberg Haus 13 (Schönhauser Allee 176, 10119 Berlin) at a press conference. Festival manager Martin Jankowski presented the concept and objectives of STADTSPRACHEN together with curators and participants of this city-wide project.

AfricAvenir in Germany grew from the international activities of the International Foundation in Douala, Cameroon and was founded in Berlin in 2000. Commencing as a student group from the Department of Political Science, Free University Berlin, it was officially registered as a non-profit and politically independent organization in 2004.
