On Friday, May 19, 2017, the symposium “Puerto Berlín – Lateinamerikanische Autor*innen in Berlin / Latin-American authors in Berlin” took place within the scope of the project PARATAXE – die internationalen Literaturszenen Berlins / international literary scenes of Berlin. Literarisches Colloquium Berlin, Literaturport, Berliner Literarische Aktion and guest curators Timo Berger and Rike Bolte presented the history and present of Berlin’s Latin-American literatures. Speeches by Juan Sanz (Berlin, Bilbao), Jorge Locane (Universität zu Köln), Érica Zíngano (author, Brazil/Berlin), Michael Gaeb (Literarische Agentur Gaeb). The multilingual multimedia reading Letters to the amphibians concluded the day. Bilingual reading with Ricardo Domeneck (Brazil/Berlin), Samanta Schweblin (Argentina/Berlin) and Patricia Cerda (Chile/Berlin). Tobias Kraft (Berlin) lead through the evening, German translations read by Denis Abrahams. >> AUDIO
