Laurence Barbasetti alias Laurence ErmacoVa studies political science at the Institut d’Etudes politiques Paris and Russian at INALCO. She also plays theater. In 2001 she finally settled in Berlin, working as a dramaturge and translator for various Berlin theater companies, the Agora Theater (Saint-Vith, Belgium) and with SCHAUBUDE, the Berlin Puppet Theater.<\/p>\n
She writes poetry and prose in French with German and Russian word sounds. Her writing has been published in literary journals, including City Languages, Other Writers need to concentrate, Manuscripts, Revue Fragile, L’Allume feu. In 2021, she will receive the Berlin Senate’s Research Fellowship of Non-German Literature for her poetry collection \u00c9tats de mes lieux.<\/p>\n
Since 2020, she has been involved in the network of French-language women writers in Berlin, working to publish digital literature in a Franco-German context.
