His poems have been translated into nine languages and published in international magazines and anthologies.<br>His work has been awarded grants from the Pablo Neruda Foundation and the Federal Book Fund (Chile), the Baltic Centre for Writers and Translators (Sweden), the \u00dcbersetzerhaus Looren (Switzerland), and the Berlin Senate. He was editor-at-large of the magazine Asymptote. He is currently (since 2015) co-organizer of the multilingual reading series Hafenlesung in Hamburg, a board member of the Verein Unabh\u00e4ngige Lesereihen (Independent Reading Series Association) since 2021, and artistic director of \u201cVOCATIONS\u201d \u2013 a multilingual, transdisciplinary reinvention of the art song in Berlin, a series of events organized by the Haus f\u00fcr Poesie (House of Poetry), starting in March 2023.<br>Cohen studied art, art history, and musicology in Santiago de Chile and New York. After living in a Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu for two years, he studied Tibetan philology and Sanskrit in Hamburg.
