She studied i. a. translation and literature at the Tampere University and\u00a0at the FU Berlin. After working at The Finnish Institute in Berlin she dedicated herself to literature and translation as a freelancer. She has attended many translation workshops and meet-ups, e.g. the international translator meet-up at the LCB, the master classes for literary translators in Finland and the German-Finnish translator workshops ViceVersa. She also teaches children and young people at the Finnish language school in Berlin and moderates and interprets at literary events. Futhermore she is attending postgraduate course in Pedagogy of Reading and Literacy Comprehension.
