He was born in Guatemala City on June 2, 1977. He completed his schooling majoring in Industrial Management and Construction Drawing. He then studied sociology and teaching language and literature at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and completed a graduate course in Prospective Political Analysis at the Universidad Rafael Land\u00edvar. His essays have been published in the journal USAC of the Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala. Books published to date include the poetry collection Figuras indispensables (Magna Terra Editores, 2012) and the two collections of fantastic stories El tama\u00f1o de las cosas (Editorial Punto Didot, 2018) and La noche inversa y otros relatos (Editorial Azul Cobalto, 2020).
