She was born in France in 1981 and has since lived in England, Spain, Hungary, Brussels and Paris, before moving to Berlin in 2008. Her stories, published in M\u00e9diapart, l&#8217;Obs or The Guardian, reveal contemporary Europe, from Germany to the former USSR or the Balkans. Her print and multimedia reportages focus on women&#8217;s issues, post-conflict societies and the rise of extremism. Her reportages have won the <em>Prix Louise Weiss<\/em> and the<em> Prix Phillipe Chaffanjon<\/em> several times.<\/p>\n<p>Her first book, <em>La Fille &#038; le Moudjahidine,<\/em> depicts the everyday life of a young North Caucasian MMA fighter as a refugee in a small East German town. Fascinated by the Tsarnaev brothers, the two terrorists in the Boston bombing, he vacillates between religious radicalisation and the desire to go and fight in Syria, and periods of dreaming about the comfort of a settled life in Germany. Her second book,<em> L&#8217;heure d&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9,<\/em> is an uncompromising portrait of a city in transition, Berlin, between gentrification and precarity. It describes the joys, doubts, hopes and despairs of the Millenial generation with a crisis-ridden Europe in the background. In 2019, <em>L&#8217;heure d&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9<\/em> was nominated for the Prix Goncourt du premier roman and the Prix Erckmann-Chatriand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bibliography\">La Fille &#038; le Moudjahidine. novel.
