Among others, he has worked with the directors Christian Weise, Laura Linnenbaum, Maria Ursprung, the musician Jacob Suske and most recently with Anta Helena Recke and the choreographer Joana Tischkau. The production Karneval, concept and direction by Joana Tischkau received an invitation to the Radikal jung Festival 2022 at the Munich Volkstheater.<br \/>\nFor some time now, Moses Leo has been devoting himself increasingly to the field of visual art and performance. With the South African artist Robin Rhode, he developed the opera performance <em>Erwartung<\/em>, which premiered at the Performa15 festival in New York City. He works closely with the artist Grada Kilomba. He produced the soundtrack for her video installation <em>The Desire Project<\/em> and for the series <em>A World of Illusions<\/em> he took on the roles of Narcissus and Oedipus Rex. These video works were shown at the 32nd Bienal de S\u00e3o Paulo, Documenta14 in Kassel and the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moses Leo (*1984) has been working as a freelance actor and performer since 2010.
