Dr Sandra van Lente works as a freelance academic and cultural project manager. She is also the personal assistant of novelist and political activist Sharon Dodua Otoo. Sandra worked as a lecturer and researcher at the Centre for British Studies, Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t zu Berlin, where she taught British Literatures and Cultural Studies, and wrote her PhD.<\/p>\n
After working as a freelancer in the cultural industries, Sandra moved to London to work on the \u201cRethinking \u2018Diversity\u2019 in Publishing\u201d project with Dr Anamik Saha. Their report containing their findings as well as suggestions for the publishing industry to be more inclusive can be accessed here online. Sandra is now back in Berlin where she and her team want to continue the work on (the lack of) diversity in the German literary field. She also runs the literature blog and event series \u201cLiterary Field Kaleidoscope\u201d together with Prof Gesa Stedman.<\/p>\n
