She was a junior student majoring in piano at the Hanns-Eisler Academy of Music and graduated with the 1st state examination in law. She won, among others, the 2nd prize of the Deutsche Bahn for young musicians and the 2nd prize at the literature competition Literaturort Prenzlauerberg, and was a scholarship holder of the novel workshop of the Literaturforum am Brecht-Haus.
