Sahar Tabandeh (also named Qazal Tabandeh) born 1983 is an Iranian artist living in Leipzig since 2017 and working in several fields of art, design and music. When she came to Germany in 2014, she had already completed a master’s degree in architecture. In 2019, she completed another master’s degree in Integrated Design at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. Since then, she has worked as a freelance artist and musician. Despite her severe physical disability, she continues her ideas and projects. In 2023 she realized her music performance inter-be-ing, which was followed by a great audience feedback. In 2022, she started her experimental music project “Zin Qand-e Parsi” and became a member of the trio “3stromland”. Now she sings in folk and jazz styles and expands her skills in improvisation and experimental sound art. In her studio GERD she experiments in the context of abstract expressionism to develop a personal style of painting. At the same time, she is working on her first poetry publication. In the last years Tabandeh has been a participant of different festivals in Germany, including “Vielfalt ohne Grenzen”, “Pop up Kino”, “Art not War”, the Grassifest, the Bauhausfest and the Bachfest Eisenach.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
