Matthias G\u00f6ritz, born in 1969, is a multi-award-winning poet, playwright, translator and novelist who lives in Offenbach. His publications include the novels “Der kurze Traum des Jakob Voss” (2005), for which he received the Mara Cassens Prize, and “Tr\u00e4umer und S\u00fcnder” (C.H.Beck, 2013), which was awarded the Robert Gernhardt Prize. His most recent book of poetry, “Tools,” was published in 2012. In 2014, G\u00f6ritz received the William H.
