Antonio Ungar was born in Bogot\u00e1. His novels have been translated into German and six other languages, and his stories have appeared in more than twenty anthologies in twelve countries. His novel “Tres ata\u00fades blancos” (“Drei wei\u00dfe S\u00e4rge”), translated by Susanne Lange, won the Premio Herralde in 2010 and was a finalist for the R\u00f3mulo Gallegos Prize in 2011. His short novel “Las orejas del lobo” was a finalist for the 2008 Prix Courier International (second-best book published in France). In 2005, Ungar was awarded Colombia’s Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar National Prize for Journalism.
