She studied law in Athens and Utrecht, spent time as a research\u00a0fellow in various German Institutions and completed her PhD with the University of Athens, Faculty of Law.<br>She is the writer of the short stories collections \u039c\u03c0\u03bb\u03b5 \u03a5\u03b3\u03c1\u03cc, Wet Blue (2017) and \u0394\u03ad\u03c1\u03bc\u03b1, Skin (2022). Parts of both books have inspired various theatrical adaptations, one at the National Theater of Greece (Experimental Stage) and another at Onassis Stegi.\u00a0<br>She is the writer of the theatrical monologue\u00a0<em>Iphigenia\/Prey<\/em>\u00a0(translated into english by Karen Emmerich) which was staged at the Athens and Epidaurus Festival in 2024 and 2025, whereas her new play is to be staged in Athens in November 2025.\u00a0<br>She is a columnist\u00a0for the prestigious\u00a0Greek newspaper Kathimerini and a translator of American literature.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vivian Stergiou\u00a0was born in 1992.
