He works as a literary translator of both Greek- and German-language literature. Among others, he has translated works by Jannis Ritsos, M. Karagatsis, Stratis Myrivilis, Vassilis Papas, Christos Chryssopoulos, and Xenophon Contiades, on one side, and Jeremias Gotthelf, Gottfried Keller, Robert Walser, Adolf Muschg, Lucy Fricke, Dilek G\u00fcng\u00f6r, Leta Semadeni, and Lukas Hartmann, on the other.
