Mojgan (Mosch) Khanedani is the daughter of two Iranian exiles. She grew up surrounded by stories: stories about a homeland that was once different\u2014free and full of possibilities\u2014before the revolution changed everything. Perhaps that explains why literature has never been merely an academic interest to her. She studied literature and then worked for twenty years as a cultural manager, at the intersection of art, communication, and social issues. During the pandemic, she spent a year working at an independent bookstore.
Today she is a mental health counselor, supporting organizations and individuals through complex times. Her love of literature has always remained. In her free time, she organizes salons and leads two book clubs, including a public one at Ahorn Space that explores the big, quiet questions: loss, mortality, and carrying on.
