Born in 1979 in Kutaisi, Georgia. She studied journalism at the University of Kutaisi, as well as cultural studies and Russian studies at the University of Potsdam (graduating in 2011).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She lives in Berlin as an author, poet, and teacher, and teaches German in integration courses at the Volkshochschule Berlin. Her literary work moves between Georgian and German, exploring the transitions of language, identity, perception, and reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Between 1999 and 2003, she published poems and short prose in Georgia in anthologies alongside other authors. Concurrently, she co-founded the Art-Club art center in Kutaisi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the context of the 2025 Frankfurt Book Fair, she translated texts that served as the basis for screenplays of Georgian films from the era of political upheaval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
