He was the publisher of the magazine\u00a0<em>Sedek: A Journal on the Ongoing Nakba<\/em>, a project of the Israeli-Jewish initiative Zochrot that aims at anchoring the displacement of the Palestinian people in the public memory and discourse. When Gardi read in \u2018broken German\u2019, completely forgoing grammar and spelling at Bachmannpreis event 2016. In the summer of 2021 his latest novel <em>Eine Runde Sache<\/em> was published by Broschl Verlag.
