She writes essays for\u00a0<em>Times Literar<\/em><em>y <\/em><em>Supplement<\/em>,\u00a0<em>FAZ<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Schreibheft<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Music &#038; Literature<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The American Scholar<\/em>,\u00a0<em>LitHub<\/em>, <em>Hyperallergic, Cargo, manuskripte, Lichtungen,<\/em>\u00a0and <em>The Brooklyn Rail<\/em>, among others; is editor-in-chief of the literary journal\u00a0<em>StatORec<\/em>; and publishes a regular column at\u00a0<em>Three Quarks Daily<\/em>. In 2020, she co-edited the anthology\u00a0<em>Writing the Virus<\/em>, a 2021\u00a0<em>New York Times Sunday Book Review<\/em> \u201cNew &#038; Noteworthy\u201d title. Writing fellowship and several research grants from the Berlin Senate; project grant from the Deutscher \u00dcbersetzerfonds (German Translator Fund).
