In 1990 he participated in the publication of the German-Vietnamese magazine for culture and social sciences <em>\u0110\u1ed1i Tho\u1ea1i<\/em> (Dialog). \u0110\u0103ng has published poems and essays in various Vietnamese magazines including <em>Talawas, V\u0103n Vi\u1ec7t, D\u00e2n lu\u1eadn, Bauxite Vi\u1ec7tnam<\/em>. He has translated poetry by Rainer Maria-Rilke, Heinrich Heine, Georg Trakl and Hermann Hesse, among others.
