In \u201cPeople Like Us,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/stadtsprachen.de\/en\/artist\/thi-thanh-thao-tran\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/stadtsprachen.de\/en\/artist\/thi-thanh-thao-tran\/\">Th\u1ecb Thanh Th\u1ea3o Tr\u1ea7n<\/a> tells the story from the perspective of the daughter of a Vietnamese immigrant family in Germany. She writes about the challenges faced by the family members in the GDR and reunited Germany, and exposes the wounds that migration and experiences of racism bring with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reading is moderated by Berlin author <a href=\"https:\/\/stadtsprachen.de\/en\/artist\/khue-pham\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/stadtsprachen.de\/en\/artist\/khue-pham\/\">Khu\u00ea Ph\u1ea1m<\/a>.
