What language does Berlin write in? With the Canadian writer Ian Orti<\/a> and his newest novel “Syringa” and the German-Ukrainian Poetry Collective Landschaft<\/a><\/em> (Ulrike Almut Sandig – vocals, Grigory Semenchuk – electronica, Sascha Conrad – visuals), who will launch their newest musci poetry artwork “HOLOS”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ian Orti is a Berlin-based writer and author who will be presenting his experimental literary thriller Syringa<\/em> this evening. Especially for tonight, we have translated selected passages of the text into German! Poesiekollektiv Landschaft is a German-Ukrainian performance project. In German and Ukrainian, the word Landschaft<\/em> (landscape) is identical. So is the enthusiasm in both countries for sounding, visible poetry. Their new album is called “Holos” and contains poems by Ulrike Almut Sandig and German versions of poems by Grigory Semenchuk.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
