The city is preparing itself for the arrival of summer – short nights, afternoons characterized by the burning heat and long nights under the spell of the sinking sun. After an eternal winter, a feeling of freedom spreads among the city’s inhabitants. Emotions move fluently between passion, lust and longing – for what? Under the sign of the rising sun, we once again searched for impressions from Berlin’s literary scene. In this new issue of our magazine, we want to explore and present how the city’s authors express the changing of seasons in their works. For summer 2022, we are showcasing 17 inspiring works by equally inspiring writers, performance artists and poets. From poems to prose to video performances, every literary genre has its place in the sun.
