Literature has moved away from paper and has long since started inhabiting and flourishing in digital spaces. And no other form of publication is as suitable for presenting multilingual literature as the online world because it can accommodate all languages, forms of presentation, and text genres at the same time. This is how stadtsprachen magazin, the digital space for multilingual literature in Berlin, has constantly evolved over the last 6 years. 26 issues with a total of 687 texts in 47 languages, 429 authors, and 229 translators have so far made the digital presence of stadtsprachen magazin what it is today: a map of Berlin’s multilingual literary world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And just like Berlin as a city, a digital literary magazine is constantly evolving and never quite finished. There will always be new, exciting poems, texts, and works of art that we want to give room to flourish in all future issues of our stadtsprachen magazin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Such is the case in our new issue: 25 texts, 25 authors, 14 translators, and 12 languages unfold in #26: German, English, Ukrainian, Spanish, Portuguese, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin, Serbian, French, Turkish, and Hebrew.
